2011 NWM – half marathon 10.16.11
This year, we did NWM again with Team JeannieXOXO. Â We had new team bibs, designed by my sissie, Raciel. Â I’m also glad that both my sisters made it this year to run the Nike Women’s half marathon in San Francisco. Â They loved it so much (including the hills!), they want to do it again next year! Â I guess the Tiffany’s necklace at the finish line also helps…
This was also a good race for me. Â My good friend, Karen Wang, ran with me, well paced me really, until the point that I couldn’t follow her anymore (she was fast, and was just holding back for me). Â Because of her pacing, I was able to PR this race! Â Although it is not under 2 hours, I finished 2:00:10 (if I only ran 11 seconds faster, it would have been an under 2 PR)…
I still love this race, I hope to run more Nike Women’s runs in the future, with Team JeannieXOXO!
