Lap swim – 4/16

So I have a sprint triathlon tomorrow afternoon, yes the start time is 4pm, and I havent swam since 2 weeks ago.  I thought I’d go for one last swim this evening, and time the 400 yds straight swimming, no rest.  Below is the whole workout: 200 yd warm-up 400 yd free timed – 10:52




Spin class -60 minutes

Rode 13.8 miles in 60 mins  through Spin class. I forgot my HRM again! Anyway, this workout went well, we did hills in the beginning, ie., I increased the resistance, maybe too much because my quads were sore after! If only I can do the same thing while road biking…



Short run to pass time

I count this as training.  So the Silicon Valley Triathlon Club (SVTC) had a meeting last night (Monday 4/12) and I got to the place of the meeting at Sports Basement by 6-ish pm – I thought the meeting started at 6.  Well, it doesnt start until 7pm.  So I changed in the dressing room



12 mile training run – 4/10/10

I planned to ride this morning approx 15 miles, but when I got out at 9am, it was drizzling then seemed like it got harder, so I bailed out of cycling.  I was already at the route also, but I am just not confident enough on the bike to ride in drizzling rain and windy



Run during lunch – 4/9/10

Ran during lunch at work today, around Los Altos hills, for ~40 minutes.  It was sunny but probably in the high 60’s.  I did some sprints for 5 minutes – running fast/sprint every 10 seconds then slow down to a jog/ normal pace.  In the beginning my feet felt heavy, had some slight pain /
